Steamboat CO (Feb. 3-10, 2019)

Sunday our group arrived in four flights to the Hayden airport, all within one hour of each other. Early afternoon we arrived at Steamboat via shuttle which conveniently included a stop at the Safeway for groceries and wine. Our stay was at the Ski Inn Condominiums

Ski days we met before 9:00 a.m. to ride the gondola midway up the mountain. From there we explored the many trails and varied terrain. Highlights were enjoying the runs off the Sunshine lift, feeding the birds at the base of the Morningside lift, and skiing a long tree run with a fresh layer of new powder.

After a day of hitting the slopes early, we gather for a late afternoon “Happy Hour”.

Wednesday we order pizza to be delivered, Friday evening we board a shuttle into town and enjoy a fine meal at the Table 79 Restaurant.
